Description
- Overdose of typical (haloperidol, chlorpromazine) or atypical (quetiapine, olanzapine, clozapine) antipsychotics
- Quetiapine - most commonly implicated in Australian deliberate self-poisoning presentations, dose-dependent sedation to coma
- Dominant risks: CNS depression, QT prolongation/arrhythmia, hypotension, and anticholinergic effects (esp. olanzapine, quetiapine, chlorpromazine)
